innings in a 9-1 win over Live Oak to advance to the Division I nonselect quarterfinals.
Myles Auxt, Catholic: The Bears sophomore mashed a home run in Catholic's win over St. Augustine to advance to the next round of the Division I select playoffs.
Olivia Johnson, St. Amant: The Gators third baseman hit a two-run home run and added another RBI in St. Amant's 8-2 win over East Ascension to reach the Division I nonselect state semifinals.
Grant Sunstrom, University High: The Cubs ace allowed just two runs across six innings in a 9-2 game one win over Episcopal in the Division III select regional round.
Sophie Rhodes, St. Michael: Rhodes hit the game-tying two-run single to help lift St. Michael past Loyola Prep to help the Warriors reach their first state quarterfinals in two-plus decades.
Logan Sorrell, Parkview Baptist: The Eagles ace threwฬ7ฬโ
innings in a 7-1 win over Pope John Paul II. He struck out 17, allowed just one hit and one run in the win.ฬ
