Kevon Looney, who spent last season with the New Orleans Pelicans, is headed back to the West Coast.
The veteran center has agreed to a one-year, $3.9 million deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to an ESPN report.
Looney played the first 10 seasons of his NBA career with the Golden State Warriors. He won three NBA titles with the Warriors before signing with New Orleans on a 2-year deal last June. The Pelicans declined the $8 million team option on his deal in June.
Looney played in just 21 games with the Pelicans, starting in eight of them. He averaged 2.8 points and 5.6 rebounds.
