Former third baseman and left-handed pitcher have made the MLB All-Star Futures Game for the American League, MLB announced on Monday.
Jump and White, both members of the Athletics organization, were selected in the second round of last summer's MLB Draft. Jump with the No. 73 overall selected while White was the No. 40 pick.
Former LSU signee Konnor Griffin also made the Futures Game roster as a member of the National League team. The Pittsburgh Pirates selected Griffin with the No. 8 overall pick in the draft last summer.
White has nine home runs and an .852 on-base plus slugging percentage in 48 games for the Lansing Lugnuts, the High-A affiliate for the Athletics. He had two home runs and a .602 OPS for the Single-A affiliate Stockton Ports last summer after he was selected by the Athletics.
Jump has a 1.91 ERA in eight starts for the Midland RockHounds, the A's Double-A affiliate, after starting the year in Lansing. Jump had a 2.32 ERA in six appearances for the Lugnuts before his promotion.
