The LSU softball team has added two more players from the transfer portal as twin sisters Madison and Mackenzie Pickens have committed to the Tigers, according to Sports Illustrated.

Madison Pickens, a sophomore All-American outfielder from Louisville, and McKenzie Pickens, a sophomore middle infielder from Ole Miss, will be reunited as Tigers. Both two-year starters at their respective schools, they are the second and third players to join the Tigers through the portal, along with Notre Dame outfielder Mickey Winchell.

Madison Pickens batted .457 with 11 home runs, 74 RBIs, 19 doubles and 12 stolen bases. She was the ACCโ€™s leading hitter in conference games with a .494 average and .777 slugging percentage. She was an All-ACC first-team pick and second-team All American. Her batting average and RBI totals were school records.

Mackenzie Pickens batted .271 with 11 homers and 43 RBIs for Ole Miss, where she started at second base. As a freshman, she started 62 of 63 games for the Rebels with a .328 average, eight homers and 37 RBIs. She helped Ole Miss gain its first Womenโ€™s College World Series appearance in 2025.

The pair played at Buford High School in Flowery Branch, Georgia, where they led Buford to back-to-back Class 7A state titles, including a 32-0 record as seniors.

LSU has eight players currently in the transfer portal from last yearโ€™s team.
