LSU Tiger baseball fans are used to the summer heat in Baton Rouge, but it's just as hot in Omaha as it is in ¶¶Òõh Sunday for Game 2 of the College World Series.
The first pitch of the Tigers vs. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers went out at 1:30 p.m., and the temperature at Charles Schwab Field Omaha is around 95 degrees. It's bright and sunny and feels like 102. Similarly, it's 94 in Baton Rouge and feels like 101, according to the NWS.
The National Weather Service has issued an extreme heat warning for Omaha and other parts of Nebraska that is in effect until 7 p.m. Sunday.Ìý
Let's hope Tigers fans packed their sunscreen and are staying hydrated in between .Ìý
