As students begin returning to LSU’s flagship campus in Baton Rouge for the fall semester, thousands will be moving into high-end apartment complexes with some of the highest lease rates in the state and amenities — game rooms, fitness studios and, in one case, a lazy river — that would have been unimaginable a couple of decades ago.
