SHRIMP: Spring inshore season closed except in Breton/Chandeleur sounds. All outside waters remain open.

OPEN RECREATIONAL SEASONS: Red snapper, flounder; lane, blackfin, queen and silk snappers & wenchmen among other snapper species; all groupers except closed for goliath & Nassau groupers in state/federal waters.

CLOSED SEASONS: Gray triggerfish, greater amberjack, bluefin tuna and gag, goliath & Nassau groupers in state/federal waters.

LDWF UPDATES

Closed: Hope Canal Road/boat launch (Maurepas Swamp WMA, levee construction); Dobbs Bay Road & all roads on the Mississippi River batture east of La. 15 (Richard Yancey WMA, flooding).
