San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has become an integral part of the 49ers passing game as one of quarterback Brock Purdy’s cast of elite weapons.

The 49ers drafted Aiyuk in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he’s blossomed into a reliable receiving threat next to elite pass catching options Deebo Samuel and George Kittle, and it was Aiyuk who led the 49ers in receiving yards this season with 1,342.

Aiyuk’s production hasn’t been quite as strong in the playoffs though with both Samuel and Kittle back healthy, but he’s still an exciting player to keep an eye on as he looks to make an impact in Super Bowl 58 against the stingy Kansas City Chiefs secondary.

TOP BRANDON AIYUK PROP PLAYS

Brandon Aiyuk UNDER 63.5 receiving yards (-110 at FanDuel)

Aiyuk is more than capable of recording over 63 receiving yards, but the bottom line is that he’s struggled to record consistent receiving production down the stretch. Aiyuk delivered the splash play to help turn around the 49ers' hopes in the NFC Championship Game, but he doesn’t have the stable floor that most guys with a receiving yardage prop this high have.

I’ll take the under as a result since it’s tough to rely on big plays, especially in this matchup against a Chiefs secondary that’s done well in limiting opposing receivers.

Brandon Aiyuk UNDER 4.5 receptions (-134 at FanDuel)

Aiyuk’s been seeing a healthy amount of targets, but his catch percentage has been lackluster this postseason after an efficient regular season in that department. Brock Purdy’s at his best when he spreads the ball around, and I expect that to happen again and make it tough for Aiyuk to rack up receptions.

Five receptions seems like a small number, but Aiyuk has only recorded three each during the past two weeks, so I’ll go with the recent trends and take the under with Deebo Samuel back healthy and commanding more targets in the NFC Championship Game.

Brandon Aiyuk to record the longest reception (+390 at FanDuel)

This is a hedge in case Aiyuk exceeds my expectations and has a huge day as a receiver, as he’ll likely need to record a long reception in order to go over his yardage prop.

I like this play because there’s a chance Aiyuk catches the longest pass and still ends up under on his yardage and receptions prop, so I feel like it’s worth taking a chance on him catching a long one considering he’s the best deep threat that will be taking the field on Sunday.
