The final week of the 2023 NFL season is here, but there are still plenty of player props for bettors to keep an eye on.
Several star players are out this week to where the Week 18 slate is tricky to navigate since several teams have their playoffs spots secured and are resting key players, but the odd circumstances can result in values to be had.
Below are my top player prop plays for passing, rushing and receiving yards with explanations on why I see these props offering value.
TOP FIVE WEEK 18 PROP PLAYS
Player prop odds from , official odds partner of .
Passing top play
Lions QB Jared Goff OVER 229.5 yards (-108) vs. Vikings
The Lions have their playoff spot clinched, but they could still leap to the No. 2 seed to where Goff and the starters will likely play the entire game. Goff had success against the Vikings a couple of weeks ago, and he should have another strong performance this week to where the over feels like a value considering that his prop is normally somewhere around 250 passing yards.
Rushing top plays
Falcons RB Tyler Allgeier OVER 29.5 yards (-119) at Saints
Allgeier continues to be slept on behind Bijan Robinson, but the bottom line is that the Falcons value both running backs to where Allgeier usually ends up with more yards than expected. The Saints struggled to contain the Falcons running game in Week 12, and Allgeier should see enough opportunity to gain at least 30 yards on the ground this week.
Vikings RB Ty Chandler UNDER 44.5 yards (-119) at Lions
Chandler had a breakout game in Week 15 with over 100 rushing yards and has been the Vikings starting running back ever since, but he hasn’t done much with his newfound opportunity having gained a combined 57 yards on the ground in his past two games. The Lions are one of the NFL’s top run defenses, so it’s unlikely that Chandler will bounce back this week.
Receiving top plays
Buccaneers WR Mike Evans OVER 61.5 yards (-117) at Panthers
Evans has dominated the Panthers throughout his career racked up a season-high 162 yards against them back in Week 13 of this season. That trend should continue for Evans against an overmatched Panthers cornerback room that he should be able to have his way with again as the Bucs look to keep their playoff hopes alive in a must-win game.
Bears WR DJ Moore UNDER 66.5 yards (-119) at Packers
Moore has had a strong first season in Chicago, but his week-to-week performance has been somewhat sporadic in an offense that’s still a work in progress with Justin Fields. Moore struggled against the Packers back in Week 1 and could be in for another long day with Packers top cornerback Jaire Alexander likely shadowing him.
