The top 18 picks of the 2024 NFL Draft have been set now that the 2023 regular season has come to an end, and the New Orleans Saints will be picking 14th.

The Saints didn't pick until 29th in the first round last year, which was a pick they acquired in the Sean Payton trade, but they've got a fairly high first round pick this year and could go in a variety of directions.

Here are some players that the Saints could consider along with the complete 2024 NFL Draft order so far.

SAINTS DRAFT POSSIBILITES

JC Latham, OT Alabama

The Saints offensive line was a major issue in the first half of the season, but it improved down the stretch with Andrus Peat and James Hurst holding things down on the left side. However, Hurst is a free agent and Peat could be a cap casualty, so Latham would fill a position of need with former first round offensive tackle Trevor Penning appearing to be a bust.

Jared Verse, EDGE Florida State

Verse proved to be a dominant pass rushing force for Florida State with nine sacks in each of the past two seasons, and he'd immediately help boost a Saints pass rush that saw an aging Cameron Jordan struggle. Verse profiles as a Jordan successor as a big defensive end who can get to the quarterback, and the Saints tend address the defensive line early in the draft.

Michael Penix, QB Washington

The Saints could decide to go with a quarterback early despite Derek Carr being locked in as the starter next season, and Penix appears to be the only realistic option with Caleb Williams, Drake Maye and Jayden Daniels all but certain to be gone. Penix has a big arm and showed enough during his time at Washington to where he could develop into a successful NFL quarterback.
