I learned a useful lesson many decades ago: Crooked politicians (aka grifters/con men/lifelong cheats) reveal their intentions by what they accuse their opponents of doing.
They are too stupid to realize what they are revealing.
When a certain candidate accuses his opponent of "rigging an election," "trying to stuff ballot boxes," "throwing out ballots," it is a clear revelation of what that candidate himself wishes to do.
A candidate who orders a state's election official to "just find 11,800 votes for me" becomes a laughingstock when he tries to accuse an opponent of stealing an election.
Oh well, crooked politicians are rarely Mensa candidates. They don't realize how obvious they are.
