Gov. Jeff Landry has appointed two new members of the LSU Board of Supervisors, the latest fluctuation on a board that has seen several changes in recent months.

Charles โ€œChadโ€ Moody of Baton Rouge replaces supervisor Patrick Morrow, while Jennifer Settoon of Gonzales replaces supervisor Laurie Lipsey Aronson, appointment letters signed by Landry show. Morrow and Aronson were appointed by former Gov. John Bel Edwards.

Moody is the founder and CEO of Crossroads Area Management, a healthcare services company in Lafayette, according to his biography on the LSU Board of Supervisors website. He graduated from LSU and was a safety on the football team that won LSU a national championship in 2007. He served as second vice chair on the Board of Supervisors for the ถถา๕h Community and Technical College System.

Settoon is an attorney based in Gonzales. Her biography was not yet available on the board website, and she did not immediately respond to a request for details for this story.

The appointments were made earlier this month without a public announcement from Landryโ€™s office.

The new members arrive to a board that has shifted significantly during Landryโ€™s tenure. Most recently, the governor elevated former Vice Chair Lee Mallett to board chair, and he appointed John Condos to the board after Lafayette-based personal injury attorney Glenn Armentor resigned. The board selected veteran trial attorney as its vice chair in February.

The new supervisors will take their oath of office at Fridayโ€™s board meeting, the public agenda shows.
