A person was seriously injured in a shooting in downtown Baton Rouge early Sunday morning, outside the Schlittz and Giggles pizzeria restaurant, EMS officials said.
The shooting happened at about 2:40 a.m. in front of the restaurant in the 300 block of Third Street, EMS officials said.
The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries, EMS said.
