The person who died at a Zachary intersection in an early Tuesday morning crash with a logging truck has been identified.
Earnest Matthews, 50, was killed in the incident, the East Baton Rouge Parish Coronerโs Office said.
The crash happened at about 6 a.m. at the intersection of Mt. Pleasant and Barnett Cutoff roads, Zachary police said.
The crash involved a van driven by Matthews and a loaded logging truck.
