A man was arrested this week, accused of setting a homeโs outdoor air conditioning unit on fire while someone was in the house, the Baton Rouge Fire Department said.
Tyler Armstead, 31, was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison Tuesday on a count of aggravated arson, the fire department said in a news release.
The fire was set on May 26, in the 2000 block of Curtis Street.
Fire department investigators determined the fire, which led to about $500 in damage, was a case of arson dangerous to human life.
