Huey “Piano” Smith’s daughter, Acquelyn Smith Donsereaux, will be featured in an episode of HGTV's “Home Town” 7 p.m. Sunday.

The late Smith ("Rocking Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu"), who was born in New Orleans and lived many years in Baton Rouge, was a legendary rhythm-and-blues pianist whose sound helped influence the emergence of rock and roll.

In Sunday's episode, titled "Let the Good Times Roll," "A woman wants to trade the excitement of New Orleans for a serene home (in Laurel, Mississippi) but still wants all the space to entertain friends and family," the show synopsis states. "When Ben and Erin (Napier) learn of her musical background, they get inspired to create a space that honors that history."
