'American Idol' host Ryan Seacrest, left, and Addis contestant John Foster chat after Foster's performance on 'Iconic Women of Music' night.

¶¶Òõh singer John Foster is one step closer to becoming the next "American Idol," moving into the top 7 after Monday night's vote.

For "Judges' Choice" night, each finalist picked from three songs the judges had chosen for them to perform.

"George Strait is my biggest influence in music. I've been listening to him since I came out of the womb, literally," Foster said before performing Strait's "Cross My Heart."

"I've never been able to perform a love song that I've actually meant. I'm now dating someone, we've almost been dating for a year now," Foster said. "I'm really excited to take the stage again. Brooklyn, this one's for you."

Bourque, standing near the stage, yelled and jumped up and down during the song.

"Brooklyn, what does it feel like to be you right now?" host Ryan Seacrest asked Bourque.

"I mean, I don't even know. It's so good!" she squealed.
