Chabad of Baton Rouge will offer a four-part course, “Deeper into Genesis,” starting at 11 a.m. Monday at the Main Library at Goodwood, 7711 Goodwood Blvd.
Led by Rabbi Peretz Kazen, the course revisits foundational Bible stories with fresh insight and relevance for today.
Classes continue July 14, 21 and 28, with Zoom access available. No prior background is needed.

Healing Hearts, Renewing Hope at True Worshiper Christian Center
True Worshiper Christian Center, 633 N. Carrollton Ave., Baton Rouge, will host Healing Hearts, Renewing Hope, a women’s gathering focused on faith, encouragement and restoration, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 12.Â
The afternoon will include prayer, uplifting poetry, a skit and inspirational messages to pour into the lives of women seeking healing, strength or a fresh start.
Attendees will enjoy refreshments, fellowship and the opportunity to win door prizes.

St. John Bible Institute 2025-'26 registration
St. John Baptist Church, 820 New Rafe Mayer Road, Baton Rouge, will host registration for the 2025–'26 session of the St. John Bible Institute from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 12. Â
