Krewe of Idunaย 

The Krewe of Iduna board of directors hosted a court social for the 2027 Iduna royal court at the home of 2027 Ball Captain Beth Browder on May 1.

Browder announced the royal court for the krewe's 66th annual Carnival ball. They include: Queen Iduna LXVI Phoebe Elizabeth Hemmerling, King Bragi LXVI Dr. Scott Allan Hemmerling, and maids and dukes Anna Elizabeth Watson, Weston Dale Barbour, Ava Cecille Hoffman, Noah Robert Baldridge, Emry Elizabeth Weiler, Austin Paul Fletcher, Marley Camille Kador, Jason Paul Cheek, Zoe Omera Smith and John Jacob Ballon.

Queen Iduna LXVI ladies in waiting are Caroline Mae Cheek and Abigail Lee Boudreaux. Esquires to the king are Elijah Carson Hall and Riley Foster Boudreaux. Pages to the ball captain are Esmarelda Natalia Contrares, Mabel Elizabeth Fletcher, Mia Kate Shaughnessy, Everett Thomas Ford, Bennett Henry Boudreaux and Timothy Samuel Ballon.

Krewe of Romany

Past queens of the Krewe of Romany gathered at The Crown Bistro for their traditional tea to honor Queen Romany LXXVII Bella McGucken.

Sisters Adrienne Lambert, Queen Romany LXXIV, and Amelia Lambert, Queen Romany LXXVI, hosted the event.

Queens shared memories of past Mardi Gras seasons while also welcoming McGucken into her role as the kreweโ€™s reigning queen.ย
