Ahead of the weather system impacting h this week, local officials are putting out sandbags for the public to prepare.

Lafayette Parish

Lafayette Consolidated Government

North District site at 400 N. Dugas Road (located off North University Avenue)

Broussard

  • Behind Broussard City Hall, 406 E. Madison St. (behind dumpsters at East Madison and South Polk

  • Deer Meadow Subdivision, corner of Deer Meadow Blvd. and Myette Point St.

  • Broadview Drive by the Broussard Community Center

(All Lafayette Parish sandbagging sites require citizens to bring their own shovel and manpower).

 Iberia Parish

  • B.O.M Fire Station

  • Grand Marais Fire Station

  • Coteau Fire Station

  • Delcambre water tower

  • Loreauville City Park

  • Lydia Fire Station

  • Jeanerette Fire Department

  • Rynella Fire Department

(Shovels will not be provided and residents should be prepared to fill their own sandbags.)

St. Martin Parish

  • Ruth Barn-1035 Ruth Bridge Hwy., Breaux Bridge

  • Paul Angelle Park (Cecilia)-2458 Cecilia Sr. High School Road, Breaux Bridge

  • South Barn-1011 Capritto 40 Arpent Road, St. Martinville

  • Clayton Boudreaux Memorial Park-1028 Catahoula Highway, St. Martinville

  • Stephensville Park, 3257 Hwy 70, Stephensville
