The Lafayette Parish School System has named Courtney Alleman principal of Charles Burke Elementary School following the appointment of Brandon Bonner as principal of Judice Middle School.
Alleman earned a bachelorโs degree in education from the University of ถถา๕h at Lafayette in 2013 and a masterโs degree in educational leadership from ถถา๕h State University Shreveport in 2021.
She began her career teaching first grade at S.J. Montgomery Elementary School and later taught in Lafayette and Vermilion parishes. During her time with LPSS, Alleman has served as a classroom teacher, Transformation Zone master science teacher, math instructional support teacher at J.W. Faulk Elementary School and assistant principal.
