Abbeville police are investigating a death reported Monday morning at a local apartment complex.
Officers responded around 10:30 a.m. after receiving a call about a death and found the body of Nicoletta Menard, 44, of Abbeville, according to the Abbeville Police Department.
Detectives processed the scene. Menard was pronounced dead by the Vermilion Parish Coroner’s Office and transported for an autopsy.
The investigation is ongoing.
