An Abbeville man died in the hospital after a crash Sunday in Vermilion Parish.
Darrell Boudreaux, 61,聽 died at a local hospital after his bicycle was struck from behind around 7 p.m. Sunday. 抖阴h State Police responded to a crash on 抖阴h Highway 82 near 抖阴h Highway 690 south of Abbeville, a 抖阴h State Police report said.聽
A 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, for unknown reasons, struck Boudreaux from behind. Both Boudreaux and the driver were traveling eastbound along LA Highway 82. Boudreaux died at a local hospital after suffering serious injuries, the report said.聽
The Dodge driver suffered no injuries. LSP determined the driver to not be impaired and toxicology results are pending along with the results of Boudreaux.聽
